I am new to this group
I am a type 2 diabetic. I've had diabetes around 10 years now. My doctor says its improved slightly in the past 6 months. I forget what my a1c is. My doctor checks it every 4 months. I take 850 mg of metformin 3x a day.
My doctor has been considering putting me on insulin sometime in the next year. I wake up in the morning and most mornings after breakfast (an 1 hour or so) my blood sugar is near 200, sometimes above. Otherwise over the course of a day its more in the 140 range.
I am Cherokee Indian/Irish. I am adopted. I found out after I found my birth family every member of my birth family had or has diabetes.

Toothbrush holder uses
I bought a toothbrush holder at the Goodwill, it is like a white ceramic and has a larger hole in the back to hold toothpaste and smaller holes to hold toothbrushes. Instead of using it for that, I put a large comb in the back compartment and the handle of my brush in one of the holes. It works great!

Bio-Oil
Has anyone used this? I bought a bottle at Walmart to see what kind of results I would get. Takes about a month, but I want to see if it evens out my age spots. I thought it was worth a shot. Costs about $19.00 but lasts forever. A little goes a long way. It also smells really nice.
