I do write books, but I love to read when I have the time. One of the books I recently read, The Smart Woman's Guide to Midlife & Beyond: A No Nonsense Approach to Staying Healthy After 50, proved to informative and entertaining. The authors, Janet Horn and Robin Miller, are both physicians yet they have written a book which offers the reader definitions, real case scenarios and techniques to help treat or prevent ailments which can affect us after 50.
I must admit I personally enjoyed their chapter dialogs as well as the encapsulated "Pearls of Wisdom" at the end of the chapters.
With my father suffering from Alzheimer's I read the first chapter on memory with great care. The book isn't out yet, but it is one which is timely for all us "smart women."
