I was forced to retire at 60 due to a severe back injury. I live(survive) on a small pension and S.S. When the money isn,t there, there isn,t much you can do, especially in a small town where there isn,t much to do to begin with. And now with gas so high it sure makes it worse trying to drive very far from home for entertainment or eating out. I,m hoping some of you guys out there in a similar situation, has some ideas. It really sucks sometimes.

Even those of us who are still employed have trouble with high gas prices.
Try sharing a ride with others...
If you have a yard, start a food garden...cantaloupes, watermelons, plant a few peach/ apple trees, tomato plants...Not flowers though.
Good luck.
