If you have never lived in America as an overweight woman, you have no idea how little and unwanted being fat can make you feel. Whether it be ten pounds or two hundred, although the bigger you are the more you stand out and the more you become the target for abuse and critisisim.
I never really had a weight problem until after my children were born. Oh, I was chunky in High School. What most people described as big boned, so I guess it didn,t take much to put all that extra weight on after childbirth and not be able to take the majority of it off. I was having a baby every two years, so I really wasn,t giving myself time to get back in shape and get my body back to normal.
More later.

Of course, it helps that my husband is supportive and noncritical since he struggles with weight, too. We eat healthy and exercise, but both qualify as "overweight." I refuse to be judged by my pounds! I will not be ignored! You are a beautiful person. Don't let other people make you feel this way. Talk nice to yourself!
I'm not fat--I'm voluptuous. I'm a heavy-duty cutie. Not large, but grand.
