Sometimes I often wonder
Who I am or what I know.

Many roads I have traveled,
Some filled with many pitfalls
Like pain and heartbreak, tears
And sorrow.

Some have been with happiness
Laughter and fun

Learning as I Grow
The one thing I have learned is
That age has nothing to do with
Maturity, nor measure how much
I have grown

For its self growth and spiritual
Growth I speak of and I have learned
That everyday I am learning as I grow

The roads I have traveled when I thought
I stumble and fell, where building
My strength and confidence in myself

The pain and heartbreak I had suffered
The ones that left scars on my soul they
Were lessons in decisions for they have?
Strengthened my faith in God.

It has given me strength and confidence
I would other wise not known
I would not know the inner beauty that
I possess,
Nor would I know how very strong I am
Or that I could help others grow along my
Life’s path.
So now, I do not question God but praise him
Everyday to continue to use me as a tool and guide
Me down that path.
Because I am learning as I grow.
