Loch Long, west Scotland...

I've just made the mistake of looking at this photo of the view from our front porch in Scotland.

Although Uganda is lovely and a worthwhile adventure, I miss this view very much and wonder how I'll survive another year and half without seeing it.

When I first moved to Scotland 8 years ago I used to sit in the front window for hours enjoying the view and wondering how I came to be so fortunate to live in such a stunning place. I did take it for granted after a few years, but I swear I'll never ever do so again!
