What a question. What makes me feel like a child, hmmm.
That brings up a multitude of thoughts. I beleive the person that asked this question was probably thinking about the positive side of being young, but I can also remember many times as I 'matured' that I felt like a child facing an unwanted correction.
But I'll fly with the positive side.
I feel most like a joyful child when I am out teaching young people about horses, and showing them the joy of relating to another being. Seeing them open up and their faces light up when they realize that a horse can be more than something to hop on and ride, and actually become a secret keeper, an affectionate friend, a companion.
I love taking them out with their new friends and seeing the world through their fresh eyes. THAT keeps me young and feeling that way!
