I had my appointment at MD Anderson today. Finally ! They were doing a followup from my irregular mammogram that I had in Beaumont in June, which recommended mag views and ultrasounds. I opted to go to Anderson for them. When I got over there, they couldn't download the films from the disc, so they did a mammo, which was much better than the one I had in June and showed better detail, and did mag views and spot views. The calcifications that had shown up are absolutely benign, which I thought they would be. I had been told that in 2001 by Anderson, but there was another one that wasn't there previously. And the shadows were due to improper positioning. Go figure !
I will return to Anderson for future Mammos. I already have my appointment for next July scheduled. Have you had your mammies grammed lately ? If not, schedule it now !
