I thought about finding a summer picture for my banner, but looking at the cool kitten is refreshing....especially in this heat...so I think I will keep it like it is. 110 degrees is TOO HOT for me and I need all the reminders of cool weather that I can get.

My son asked why I moved to this area if I don't like the heat, and I told him that I love the other nine months of the year.

Fall is beautiful with all its colors. And the cool, crisp air is very welcome after a hot summer.

I like the fog that comes with winter...and the rain when we get it. I love to go to the mountains to play in the snow. Someday I'm going to learn to ski.

Our spring is usually pretty short, but it is beautiful.

But summer here is just HOT.
