Hectic New Year

I know this sounds like I just started the New Year, but so far, this year, 2008 has been non stop since January. I don't know how people move about and travel and continue on the go; but since January, we have been to Florida visiting friends and finding new friends that we met on Eons, Like minds, like Hobbies; that was fun. We then had our Sons wedding in March, early on as this has been planned for about a year. His wife and family put on a very nice event, this time we didn't have to do too much, just show up, basically. Then Easter the following week with the family and guests. My oldest daughter moved out of our house at the end of January to go to a new home and our baby daughter moved down from Boston to adjust to loosing her home in the big home mortgage debacle. That was March also. Come April we were off to Hawaii for a planned event from a year ago, It was fantastic cruise, met many lovely travelers, in fact dear friends from Iowa whom we made quick friendships with and we are now awaiting to hear if they had difficulty in the floods. We cruised all 5 major islands in Hawaii and got to visit many places including an Orchid Botanical Gardens, Beaches and several volcanos. Active and asleep ones and seeing one erupt at night, Kool.
Come May it was a bit quiet except for the memorial day weekend, when we were visited by my daughters future inlaws. They came down to the area to see where their son was going to be living, now that they decided to make South Jersey their new home, instead of Boston.
June was quiet until the end of June when the children decided to take the final plunge and planned a destination wedding in Jamaica. We went to the beautiful resort of Sandals in Jamaica and have been on a high ever since, Snorkeling, glass bottom boat rides, catamaran, swimming, pools and the photos are in my profile photos. So far that is half the year. Two weddings, two trips and we are not done yet. Have been to Ocean City New Jersey for 4th of July already. September will be the official wedding ceremony in Church with the rest of the family who did not attend in Jamaica. We actally had 29 people show up. I should get a discount from Sandals. Just thought of that one.
Anyway, I will fill you in on the September events when they come up. But don't ever say, life is boring or slow. We have been on 3 airplane trips. Hawaii, Florida, Jamaica and 1 cruise. I am heading for a nap after all that, Thank you very much.
