You may have noticed widgets on friends Eon's Profile Pages. Widgets are small computer programs that run (work) directly from a web page or profile. You don't have to know anything about programming to add them to your own Profile page.
Eons provides an article that might help you get started. How To Post Widgets and Videos on Eons. This may be all the help you need.
For some of us, more detailed instructions would be helpful. This tutorial will teach you how to select and add Widgets from Google Gadgets to your Profile page.

1. Select your Widget
We're going to start with only Google Gadgets, because most of them are easily compatible with many different web page sites, including Eons. The terms Gadget and Widget are interchangeable.
Go to the Google Gadgets page.
Tabbed browsers: Right click on the link and select Open Link In New Tab: Google Gadgets Search
Others: Right-click on the link and select Open Link In A New Window: Google Gadgets Search
Poke around (browse or search) until you find a Gadget/Widget you like.
We'll start with a Fortune Cookie widget. You can locate it by typing: "Fortune Cookie" into the search box at the top of any of the Gadget pages.
Click the "Add To Your Webpage" button on the top result (Fortune Cookie By Gadgetate).
2. Configuration
For instructional purposes, we're going to ignore the configuration options for the moment. Leave all the settings just as they are. After you've successfully installed your widget, you may come back, customize the settings, and reinstall.
3. Grab the Code
Scroll down until you see the Get The Code button. Clicking the button will show a text box with necessary code.
It's very important to get all the code. A missing character can cause all kinds of problems. To make sure you copy all the code, use this procedure:
Place your cursor somewhere inside the text box.
Right-click your mouse.
Highlight and Click " Select All"
Right-click your mouse again.
Highlight and Click "Copy"
Good job!
4. Paste the Code Into Your Eons Profile
Make sure you are logged in to Eons.
Go to your Profile...
Tabbed Browsers: right-click on the following link and select "Open Link in New Tab"Profile
Other Browsers: right-click on the following link and select "Open Link in New Window" Profile
Once you've arrived at your profile, select the link: Edit My Widgets
On the Edit Widgets page, locate the Add-A-Widget section
Place your mouse curser somewhere inside the text box labeled Widget Text.
Right-click your mouse.
Highlight and Click "Paste"
The code from the Google Gadget Page will appear in the text box.
5. Update and Exit
Place a check mark in the box that asks if you wish to Share the Widget.
Click on the Add Widget button.
Again, click on your Profile link (top right of the page)
Scroll down your Profile until you can see your new Fortune Cookie Widget.
Click on the fortune cookie!
You can follow the same procedure to add additional Widgets.
