This is for anyone that doesn't know how bananas are formed. The big shape at the bottom is how it first forms, then it makes pink flowers, which grow into bananas. This one was from last year and it made 3 rows of bananas. Our season was not long enough for them to ripen. They were amazing! After the plant makes bananas the "Mother" plant dies, or so I understand.
