All the fun things I do all day with my grandson makes me feel young again.
Watching cartoons, playing make believe, singing "Mary Had A Little Lamb" and playing "Tag Your It."
Just tonight I caught his first lighting bug. I placed in his palm and told him to be nice to it because he had to set it free.
Then that flash of memory came back to me when I use to chase lighting bugs. Recalling the wonderment of a bug that could light up!
The wonder of youth. It really never leaves your heart and soul. It is still there you just have to reach out and catch it in the palm of your hands.
thanks for reading and don't forget to go outside and catch a fire fly tonight.
Feel that kid inside of you all over again

It's a small world after all ...
And the wonder of a little bug that can light up a child's world!
I just met a young teen last week that came over the USA for vacation and he told me the first thing he wanted to see when he came to NJ and USA was a firefly. He said they don't have them in Australia.
So I asked him if he saw one yet.
His reply "Yes and it was a great thing to see"! I will always remember the delight of seeing them.
Brought back my thoughts that I just blog this topic a few weeks ago at eons.
Small world after all. And small wonder how these little lighting bugs are heard about all over the world.
And the wonder of a little bug that can light up a child's world!
