Summer is full of water. And, water can be pretty darn interesting to photograph. It can be wet and runny. It can be a stop-action of a spray of water. It can be a tripod-held image over a long time exposure, recording the motion of water. The possibilities are endless.
A word of caution, as you venture out there with your camera, trying to mix it up with water. The electronics of your camera will not fair well if they actually encounter water, so be careful. You can get disposable cameras for water photography, and if you do a lot of snorkeling or scuba you may be interested in getting an underwater housing for your camera.

So, lets have a contest! Post your best “water” photos here. I’ll get a photographer friend to judge the entries. We will make the closing date of the contest at 12:00 noon EST on Monday, July 7th. Eons will supply some Eons “swag” as prizes. We’ll have a first, second, and third prize, as well as honorable mentions. So get out there with that camera and capture that water! Keep the file size relatively small. Post your photos ONLY in the message titled "Water Photos". Post your photo as a "reply" in that message. It will make
judging easier when all entries are in one place. Good luck to all!
