After four days in Ulaan Baatar I'm ready to depart with the group of eight plus three drivers, a Group Leader and a Trainee Leader in three Russian built 4-wheel drive vans. We will be setting out for the Gobi across wide open stretches of desert and bush camping each night in tents for several days.

Then on to the grasslands and the Nomadic Peoples of the Steppe to sleep in traditional Gers made out of the felt of yaks and goats.

Finally heading up north to the Siberia region and the frozen tundra to walk on a glacier and witness some reindeer migration and meet the herders.
