I guess the heat is getting to a lot of people. I'm not suffering too much but I don't usually get tired of it until August anyway.

I have a ton of lettuce form the farmer's market this morning. I'm guessing that it's all about to bolt because there were huge heads of all varieties just 3 for $5 so I had to buy it. Now I'm feeling overwhelmed but it all but I'll do my best to eat as much as I can.

I also bought some more flowers and herbs to put on the steps out front. I don't have a lot of faith that they will last but I'm giving it a try.
