This has been a very rocky spring here. We have set record lows for the whole month of April over Easter weekend and then after having been so dry for most of March we now have water standing everywhere.
I live pretty much on the top of the hill with no creeks or rivers close enough to flood, but I have several places that now are trying to turn into lakes.
After my husband passed in 2005 I had pretty much let my yard go, but am trying to reclaim it and my flower beds. Today was going to be a day for working in the yard, but it is so wet and mushy that I am going to have to give up that project.
I pray that those with much more serious problems from this last storm will be okay.
This is my first writing although I have been reading the postings for about a month now. It seems a great place for sharing things big and small. I look forward to more postings.
