We spent the weekend at a beachhouse where our daughters and their men joined us. Samuel was there a little on the last day, as he has returned from a dive in Florida. We ate shrimpt, watched "The Wonder Years," swam in the muddy water, played games. I read books--of course, as usual. Madeline Hunter's new book, "Secrets of Surrender," is out.
