$2.99.....its been a long long time!!....I've noticed recently the move in the movie industry towards using comic book heroes into movies...I used to collect comic books way back when I was in grade school. I had most of them starting with DC comics featuring Superman and Batman the other justice league members. I guess mostly everyone started out reading and collecting Archie comics, it really all started with reading the comics in newspapers, something of which I still enjoy. When do you know that you have out grown comic book reading? Its when we try to make our heroes real...lets take superman for instance, we knew him as super boy with a dog krypto...we followed them er we followed super boy to superman...all this taking place in the USA in metropolis, which was in what state? along with superman best pal batman who was in gotham city which was said to be NYC which was also the home of the justice league of America.....CNN would have been proud, but I think you get the picture. Then came my favorites Marvel comics, featuring Spiderman, Thor, iron man,the x men and prince namor, sgt.fury and his howling commandos etc...no telling if there was an end. No bragging intended but who has a bevy of number one and number two and three series in marvel lore? me....and they didn't cost me $2.99 either.
