I grew up with three brothers,one older and two younger than me.I remember when we were little we lived in a house that had a nice crawlspace under the back side.It was nice and cool under there in the hot summer weather.My older brother would make little cars (or so we called them) out of wooden spools that thread came on and rubber bands.We would play with those for hours.He also built go-karts out of scrap wood with old wagon wheels and a rope to guide it with.We had so much fun playing with those home made toys.Back then we got very few store bought toys.We also spent alot of time playing marbles.Those were really good times.Too bad most kids today don't have the experiences we had back then.Did any of you play with home made toys ?
