Well I finally have things lined up for my Chemo treatment. I saw a surgeon today (May 14th) and he will operate to put in a catheter that will run from my chest toward the heart. There will be a site under the skin for injection of the chemo and blood tests. The surgery will be on the 21st. I am scheduled for the first treatment on the 22nd.
I continue to be suprised at the pace of progress toward mt treatments. I started with this insurance Co. the 1st of April. And with all the tests and scheduling and waiting for referals, it will be 7 weeks from insurance start-up to treatment. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations about getting this stuff done.
