I recall sitting at my bedroom window on my 6th birthday sure that I'd hit a magical age. An age where I was finally old enough to learn everything there was to know. If I remember correctly, I was sure I'd have all this knowledge covered in 5 or 10 years at most. Now at 53 I realize I've only just scratched the surface. :)

I guess you could say that this blog is a record of my continuing education. A life which, while much different than expected, is still very much worth living. A life where Multiple Sclerosis has taught me, as nothing else could, that it's ok to laugh at yourself - and that sometimes it's ok to be gentle with yourself.

I know there are many people who live lives very much like mine. I hope that these little glimpses into my daily life will make you smile. If they do, maybe you'll post some comments and let me know.
