I am way over 50, but I am still a workaholic. I am a professor at one university and one community college, where I teach various psychology courses. I am a playwright, a poet, singer and a fine-art artist. I work at a State hospital where I am an administrator. I am also a part-time psychotherapist. My clients are various ages from 12 years to senior adults.
My other loves include music of various genres; art, also of various genres. I have a passion for conducting social/psychological research and engaging in academic discussions. I have a Master's degree in Behavioral Science and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology. My license and certifications include: CSW (Certified Social Worker) - NJ; CCFC (Clinically Certified Forensic Counselor) - IN; and CPM (Certified Public Manager) - NJ.
I consider myself very spiritual and because of my spirituality, I am a staunch vegan and environmentalist. I love people, animals, plants, the environment, and all living things, and I make it my business to protect Mother Earth and her/our Creator. Given that I love people so much, I constantly volunteer my services to help people and I do not support the death penalty because of my committment to living things.
As for my civil and social fights, I still have a 60's mindset, and for that reason although I am heterosexual with five children and six grandchildren, I fight for and support the rights of the most vulnerable people in our society including gays and lesbians who are always under threat of being attacked, harmed and even killed, which is brutally wrong.
I love law and justice, and at one time I aspired to become a lawyer; however, instead I decided to become a social/forensic psychologist where I could use my skills not only in the courtroom, but within society at large as well.
