I notice when a person has a health problem, mental or physical, if they can express how they feel in art they get better. writing poetry, drawing, painting, big pieces of work, they get all out and feel so much better afterwards. I was in mental anguish one time, and my angels gave me the opportunity to write a very long poem that was going to be a sad play. It came out of my pencil as I sat at my kitchen table. It just poored it's self out.
Another time I started drawing something and it metamophized into a beautiful drawing. I started using big pieces of paper, water color or big canvases, it just flowed out of me. I felt better.
Jason Polock did that with his art , he felt better.
Paul Klee he must of felt better, after listening to jazz and painting.
Some people use art to slow down there mind that is racing away. Being meththodical and going slow forces you to slow down.
How do other people use art to heal, let me know your ways.
Art and Health, do you think they go together.?
