If you have a neighbor who is older than you, do a good deed. You will be there yourself one day. Tell then the weather is great. You feel like it is a great day. Listen to what they are saying. Get them to talk about their job they had before they older. Get some river rocks and paint on them. Give one to them. Tell them it is for greatful for the day or week and to think on these things.
If you have a garden give them some Zuccini or a flower or two.
Give them some bottled water.
Or put a dollar in an envelop and put it under their door. And do not let them see you.
If you have the gas offer to get something for them.
Give them some left over canned goods. If you are replacing things from your earthquake thing give it to you older neighbor and tell them to eat or drink it right away.
Above all listen to them. They want someone to hear them.
It makes all the difference to them.
