I couldn't agree more -- I see it in my grandkids all time because they tend to repeat things they hear and not only the words, but the tone and manner in which they are used. They may not realize what they are saying just that they heard mom/dad/nana/grandpa/etc say it or do it or use it. I cherish my grandkids and that includes cherishing the things I can teach them, both in my words and deeds, my recollections of things I did when I was their age, my recollections of things their mom and/or dad did or said when they were younger.
