In 1985, my daughter, Lisa, and I opened the first Fantastic Sams, Salon in Hemet,Ca. Up until that time there was no shop in town that catered to the entire family, and certainly none that were inexpensive and welcomed children. Hemet was prodominately Seniors, and most of them were over 70. Not many restaurants,no big businesses, and population was less than 50K.

NOW! we have many chain restaurants,Super Wal-Mart,most of the businesses coming into town offer services and goods for the entire family. Our population has grown to almost 100 thousand, and the under 45's are out numbering the over 55's. Now there are plans in the works for a regional Mall of over 1 million sq.feet under one roof.
