If they knew about solar when they changed the buggy to cars and candles to mercury and nuke for electric.

The sun still shines everyday. We are in the 21 century and science has know that solar works. So why is the general pubic not asking for it or using it?

I ask for solar all the time, but in the state of Georgia there is not incentive to go solar. The local electric company is no help -- as they told me -- it is not advantageous for them to promote solar. The state offers no incentives for going solar. There is a $2,000 federal rebate for using solar to hear water (water heater). I've been trying for three years to find someone to install solar in my house to no avail. So it's not a questions of why is the general public not asking -- it's a question of why is the local and federal governments not offering incentives and forcing local electric companies to jump on board
