If you ever get the chance to meet with other members of Eons that you visit with online, grab it. The 10 members that met up in Erie last weekend had a blast (and just a bit of wine).
The day was clear but chilly. Snow covered the ground but the streets were clear for driving to the winery for our tour. After the tour and a presentation we tried 6 or 7 different varieties. Some bought wine to take home but I was flying with just a take on bag and they didn't have 3 oz bottles.
A second winery followed-the laughter got louder. Roger and I went to try our luck at the local casino. Roger has much better luck than I do.
The others hit a third winery and went to scope out the ice dunes at lake side.
We met back up for dinner and had a grand time. Huge servings of fish and chips could have served 2 or 3 people. The online friendships became real life friendships in only one day.
