Another wonderful Easter Sunday in the Lord's House. Started at 5:45am with the men of the church (25 of us) cooking breakfast and fellowshipping. It is the tradition in my church for the men to prepare and serve breakfast on Easter Sunday. We had a beautiful Sonrise Service. Pastor had me show a wonderful video, about writing our sins and problems on slips of paper and nailing them to the cross. Symbolically giving them to Christ. He then had those who wished, to do so and put the papers on nails on the cross in the sanctuary. Everyone placed something on the nails.
Then breakfast at 8:00am, followed by our usual Sunday schedule. Bible study at 8:45 for us in the worship services, and 2 services 9:30 and 11:00. One young man, who is going into the U.S. Army on April 1, was baptized in the second service. Always a beautiful thing to behold.
The only thing that could have been better is if my Diana was still by my side. However, I know that she still is. She is with me always. Sometimes I can feel her there.

I was widowed 18 years ago when my husband, age 40, died of a sudden brainstem hemmorage. I totally understand your pain and I know holidays are hard to get through sometimes. However, the only way I believe you can get through this is with God's love. Hold on to the memory of Diana, however, let her go and enjoy her wonderful new life with God. She deserves that and is so happy that it is beyond our comprehension. Pray for God's strength to let you do that. I waited 16 years to date. Don't waste those wonderful days that God has given us like I did. My little bit of unasked for advice for the day, however it is sent with love. ;-)
Bless you,
