This election is becoming quite a burden for this former John Edwards supporter. For the firt time in my life I actually got off my butt and did something. I drove 45 miles one-way to man the phones for him at his national headquarters in Chapel Hill. I was so sad when he had to drop out.

After that, I had to decide on the other two. Was a hard decison. I will never forget the speech that Sen.Obama gave at the Democratic National Convention, truly inspiring.

I remembered all the years of work of Sen. Clinton. She chose to work for the poor when she could have gone to work for a big law firm, as did Obama.

I chose to support Clinton. First the fact that she endured so much during the White House years told me that she has staying power. Something we don't really know about Obama.

Yet, trust me. I'll suporrt him with all my energy. It is not, for me about the bad guy or the bad woman. I truly believe that we must elect a democrat. We, the heathen left, must restore integrity to the White House.

I suppose the one consolation if we were to lose would be the fact that the repubs. would have clean up their own mess. A mess it is. With all of the social programs, taking care of things that Jesus taught, our country was in great shape when Clinton was in office.

Now, we owe our souls to China, the dollar is falling. We have lost face with the world. We no longer speak of human rights, unless there is finacial gain. We torture prisoners, something that we jailed the Japanese for.

If you want to find the truth you have to search far and wide, the American media is controlled by big corporations.

John McCain must be loving all the in-fighting, not between the candidates, but the democratic voters.
