Hi. Thought you might be interested. "In Case of Emergency," the show that I've been on for just three episodes, is on Wednesday night, March 14th, at 9:30 p.m. on ABC. I only did three episodes of this and I'm playing this really kind of Mrs. Robinson-y kind of character but a lot of fun, a woman called Donna Ventress.
And apparently, the ratings last week were so huge. They were the highest ratings they've had on the show since the opening night. And we even beat out a very major competition which was the opening night of the new series of "Crossing Jordan." So everyone was very thrilled. And I think they're very surprised that someone in my age group could have the power to pull people into a show that's really geared up for young people.
I thought you would be interested to know that people are still interested in people our age. So, that's good news. And there's one more episode, tonight at 9:30.
So, the more people that watch it, the more chance there is for television networks to make shows about people who are over 50-years-old!

Old? We're in our prime! Way to go, Mis' Jane! Apparently, this entry was dated incorrectly, 'cuz the 14th is tomorrow, and I will certainly check out this show. Thanks for the info--and again, old??? I think not!

I am thrilled that your guest shots are bringing in ratings. I hope that means you will get even more roles. I personally would like to see you in your own series again assuming you want to do that since it is a lot of work and you have so many other things you love to do. Personally I perfer drama, but your facial expressions last week were halarious. I look forward to seeing your next episode! I will watch anything you do!

At our age, the "younger set" has trouble keeping up with us!
Remember the quote, "Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill".
And it really works too!! LOL

I think you are fabulous Jane. We have a running joke at our house. My son, when he was in his teen's asked his step-dad who you were and how old you were. At the time I think you were 45. My son flipped out. He is now 25 years old.
So now whenever your name or pictures comes up; I wink at my husband and ask....How old is Jane Seymour? Also, I am impressed with your artistic ability...wow.
Thanks,
Sandy K.

Keep up the good work. I can't tell you how much fun and enjoyable it is to watch something other than the current state of affairs. Keep it up. We really really need this to keep us sane. Or at least as sane as we can be! Take care and mvto. (Thank you)

Bringing sexy BACK? Jane, darling, "sexy" never LEFT! I've been a fan ever since I saw you in that Bond movie whose title escapes me for the moment. And, while I confess I haven't followed your work as closely as I might have, you never cease to disappoint. Today's starlets have nothing on you and your (our?) peers. My wife thinks I'm crazy, but I still think Ingrid Bergman, Elizabeth Taylor, Janet Leigh, Audrey Hepburn, and yourself are among the most beatiful women ever to appear on film. Keep it up!

I have enjoyed every movie, TV show, mini series etc. that you were in. Aren't twins wonderful? Mine are now 27. Now, it is my turn to create my life dreams as my children are creating their's. Blessings to you and yours. Susan Norgren

I like your change of characters from Dr Quinn to the Mrs. Cleary role in Wedding Crashers. "WC" has to be one of the funniest movies out for quite some time. Loved that look you gave Owen Wilson's character after you told him you have been married 30 years now and faithful for 2. I am sure that role got you prepared for the current role as Donna Ventress. I have not seen "In Case of Emergency" yet but I will tune in to see what your character is up to this Wednesday. Keep up the great work.

Years ago in the 80's I was having a business lunch at the Century City Plaza Hotel. You were sitting at the next table, I coud not get over how petite you were and how long your hair was. Needless to say I did not get much out of the business part of the lunch. I ws really distracted. The other night I was watching In Case of Emergency and I thought what a sexy looking character Donna was. When I saw it was you, I thought: Wow! Do you look good! You were very funny too. Keep up the good work.
