I was sitting here watchin' a Law and Order I never saw before. The killer has Altziemers and they send the woman ADA to investigate treatment of Altzhiemer patients in prison hospitals. Let me say, they did not show it, but the description was bad, real bad. Made me think of the Psychiatric Hospitals in the late 60's. The shrink then says, "You think that's bad, wait till the baby boomers start getting Altzhiemers....Then you will really see horrible conditions."

Now I know I was just watching a TV show, but I was really struck by how matter-of -factly this shrink said it. This is what is going to happen and nothing can stop it. But he is WRONG!
