Here are my thoughts on this.... People over 40 or 50 or 60 like to think of themselves as "seasoned travelers" who are still on the journey...NOT a bunch of "Seniors" standing in the feed lot being pumped full of advertising waiting for the bus to come. And as a further humiliation, being cheer led by some millionaire goofy guy selling them life and healthcare insurance. They've already met this guy at the local used car lot. In the record business, we used to call it shuck and jive.
Myboomerplace, on the other hand, is like the old bar in Boston called Cheers where everyone knows your name..friendly and unassuming. Think of it as a place to start out from every day and to come back to every night.
Look at it this way.. You're stranded in the jungle and you're surrounded by headhunters. You''re with Donald Trump who has a suitcase full of money and a fresh hairdo and is trying to convince you he can buy his way out of there. Your other companion is this guy named MacGuyver who left his wallet at home but has a knife, a compass and some parafin matches. Who you gonna go with???
