God knows what we need before we pray.He always supplies our needs.He also knows when we pray for things we don't really need even if we think we do.For example,many years ago,my husband and I decided to buy a house,it would have been our first house.Our two sons were just little boys at the time.We found a small house in our neighborhood and decided to buy it.We prayed about it,if it was The Lord's will for us to have it.Everything was going great,we had the down payment,payments would have been in our range,we were sure it would be ours soon.Well,God knew what was ahead.Even though we had good credit,the bank turned us down.we were very disappointed and couldn't understand why.Just a few weeks later,my husband's work just came to a halt.He worked in construction and due to the economy at the time,building just stopped and things got pretty hard for us for awhile.God saved us from buying that house then losing it.God could see what we couldn't.Now we praise God for not letting us buy that house.Sometimes God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.Don't get upset if you don't always get what you pray for,it may be God's way of saving you from something down the road.Trust in the Lord,He may not always give you what you ask for,but He will give you what you need.God bless you all.
