I write to relieve the pressure
I write to purge my soul
I write to clear my mind, so I can be still long enough to hear what God has to tell me
I write because it makes me think
I write when I'm sad
I write when I'm mad as hell
I write because I dislike dumb shit
I write to free my spirit
I write to motivate
I write to keep myself in check
I write to stay focus
I write to open doors
I write to wake the dead
I write to educate
I write because I care
I write to stir people's emotions
I write to piss people off enough to want to get involved
I write to laugh at myself
I write to keep from cracking up
I write to keep from screaming to the top of my lungs
I write because sometimes people can be too suffocating
I write when people try and take me for granted
I write to keep people out of my space
I write to keep from hurting people's feelings
I write to distant myself from people when I need to get away
I write for all my ancestors before me who were not allowed to learn how to write
I write for all my ancestors who didn't know how to spell their own name and used an X as their signature
I write for change for my children and grandchildren
I write because if I couldn't talk at least I can write you a note to let you know you are barking up the wrong tree
I write because it's one of my passions
