Every morning when I take my children to school we listen to the radio. The station that we listen to depends on what child is in charge of the radio that day and what mood that child is in. On even days my son gets the radio as he was born on the 10th and on odd days my daughter gets the radio as she was born on the 5th. (It saves a lot of arguments between children 15 mo. apart; all you mothers out there know exactly what I am talking about). The exception to the rule of course is if one or the other is not at home the night previous. My children have diverse tastes and are not limited to one kind or one genre of music. I love morning radio because that is when most of them have their morning shows and many of the morning shows cover topics of national interest or general life, but mostly they DO have, a topic under discussion. This morning the guys on the radio were calling people and asking one simple question, "What was it that made Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer unique?" Now that is a pretty self-explanatory question wouldn't you agree? Of the three people that answered the question, no one got it. One lady said "He was the leader of the reindeer, and he was the youngest, another lady's answer was incomprehensible and the third person could not even understand the question as he was not English fluent, he was working at a fast food place and if it did not contain the word "Whopper" he just could not understand.

I say all that to say this. Has America lost its ability to think? Does anyone else think that this is a scary thing? I have come to the conclusion that it must be and has been a conspiracy of the government to dumb down America to the point that we must have "Politicians and Big Government" to take care of us because we are to stupid and mindless to do so on our own. Of course we have the government calling the shots in our schools, what better way to control the masses than to start early and control the young. Teach them early that they cannot possibly know what is going on in the country and must depend on their leaders to show them the enlightened way. Teach them early that you must obey without question all authority. Teach them early not to have any original thought that the media does not feed you with a spoon. Teach them early that the government is not really about the personal freedom of the people but about how the government controls and manipulates it's people. Teach them early that everything is the government's responsibility and not the individual's responsibility. At the end of all that you get a large group of people who actually think that they, on a personal level have nothing what so ever to do with politics and it does not touch their lives in any way. The only thing wrong with that conspiracy is, they went to far with it, and now we have folks who cannot read or do math. So now they scramble around with the "No Child Left Behind" thing to cover that up. All they really wanted, was people to dumb to realize that they were being led to the gas chambers. The really great thing is, reading requires comprehension and math requires logic, so you almost can't have one without the other. Don't get me wrong there are many thinking Americans that will take a look at the candidates and vote on the issues. But there is a large portion of people out there who will vote or not vote for Hillary because she is a woman, there is a large portion of people out there that will vote or not vote for Obama because he is multi-racial. There is a large portion of people out there who will vote or not vote democratic or republican just because that is or is not their party affiliation. How stupid is that? Every American should have been watching the Democratic Debates, and every American should have been watching the Republican Debates. In all likelihood one of these men or women will be the leader of our country in the very near future. You should know if one of them thinks it is ok to take money from individuals and redistribute it, you should know if they think it is ok to torture (enhanced interrogation techniques) prisoners of war, you should know if in the future you are going to have to carry a new kind of identification. These are important issues..........America should know........the American people need to wake up......................
