I guess as we all get older, our days become a little more valuable with each passing year. At least that is the way I've come to feel. It's like I have 83 cents to spend and I've already spent 60 cents. I want to make sure I get my money's worth as I spend this last 23 cents. How will I spend this next year?

Hello, slopok. How, I wonder, did you come by the name slopok? I don't expect an answer to that. What you wrote about our days becoming more valuable is so true. All our days are valuable, but we just don't realize it until there are not so many left. It seems the weeks just fly by--whoops, it's Saturday, again?? And, about that mention of two copies of the same book--don't feel bad--I've done it twice. Of course, I have 8 years on you. A hint of what you have to look forward to, perhaps. It seems peaceful in Alabama, as you describe your childhood. KariJ.
