My Allidog Chopper

Yesterday I went to the doctor as I have for the past year because I was getting treated for colorectal cancer. It's been tough at times. The daily Radiation treatments and the bi-weekly infusions of drugs that make you do all kinds of wacky things and feel all kinds of wacky. And the week it takes to recuperate from the fatigue and sore muscles and tingling hands and feet! It all doesn't seem to go away. And a bunch of other things such as the discrimination and the funny looks and comments you get from people that don't know what you have and they assume you are a wierdo. Then one day it all went away.

And I can't forget that I happen to work for the nicest people around. Tom and Janet are a young couple that own a Mom and Pop trailer parts and repair business. They not only kept my job open for my return, remember I've been off for about a year, they also kept my insurance premiums current while I was not working!

Six weeks ago I received my last treatment and the only thing I was waiting for was the results of the catscan. I am happy and blessed to say that I am, the doctor didn't say healed, but "stable". If you believe in GOD, and I do putting all of my faith in HIM, then I know I am stable and healed by the blood HE shed for me on the cross.

Thanks You Jesus for guiding the hands and mind of the surgeon and the oncologists that treated me. And for the best employers I've ever had. Amen and Amen!
