Yesterday morning I had to get up early because I was on The View. And I love doing "The View." I love those women, any combination of those women to be perfectly honest, hadn't been on it with Rosie O'Donnell before. And my goodness, she just really puts an electric thrill into that experience. There’s a major chemistry and you can see why that show really is doing so well right now. I love doing "The View." They always invite me on.
This time they got me on, because I have a wonderful show that’s on television called In Case of Emergency. It airs today, the 28th and is on ABC. It's a David Arquette and Jonathan Silverman show, and I play David Arquette's mother who ends up having a relationship, inappropriately of course, with Jonathan Silverman. And of course, they showed the photo, the famous one of me in my bra and not much else.
And I can vouch for the series because of the elements that I added to it, the character of Donna is a woman in her 50s who is basically falling in love, she’s having a wonderful time with a 30-year-old, this gorgeous guy, played by Jonathan Silverman. And it's very, very funny, you know how to decide whether or not it’s appropriate for her son to know that she’s in fact sleeping with his best friend. I highly recommend it if you want a good laugh. I had a lot of fun doing it, and fun on "The View" talking about it.
But, also on "The View," they showed my art which is great because I'm in New York City right now for four days of Art Expo. And the first two days, Thursday and Friday are for the professionals, the dealers in the business and I'll be there at by 11:00am each day however Saturday and Sunday are open to the public. I'll be at the Javits Center on Saturday March 3rd I’ll be there from 11:00 am – 4:00pm and on Sunday March 4th from 11:00am – 2:00pm. And I'm showing a lot of art. So, this is really fun for me and very exciting, and of course, there are a lot of great artists there, and so I'll be there in the booth. I'm also going to be involved with some other events that are happening there, which I'll talk about on the later. But, I will be at the Javits Center, and so if anyone wants to come and see my art, it will be there.
And that is what's happening, as well as my thoughts and my feelings. And I'd love to know what everybody else's thoughts and feelings are.

Hi Jane!!! I cannot tell you how amazed and excited I was to see your face on the eons home page today! I loved your blog and hope to read more of them in the future. How do you find the time to be so productive? Art, fashion, movies, blogs you should go for a part in the new wonder woman movie :)
It is so empowering to see a woman over the age of 50, and as beautiful as yourself, still working in hollywood. Long may it continue we baby boomer women are proud of you!

Hi, and welcome to Eons. I have had the honor of seeing your artwork in Laguna Beach when you were at the Pagent of the Masters. I try to do all of the art shows there when they are in season. Will you be a returning artist this summer?
I have enjoyed seeing you as an actress. You have a wonderful gift of talent.
Myself, just having lost my mother, I am now returning to "my life". Traditional beadwork and great crocheted purses and goodies, will get me back into some of the artwalks and artist showcases I have done. Plus, updating a 1937 house in Southern Calif. with my husband of almost 37 years.

You go, girlfriend! It's wonderful to see a woman over 50 be a "sex symbol" on the big screen...You are a beautiful person and it's refreshing to find that you are also very down to earth. I salute you!

It is nice to hear your opinions, and share mine with you. Mostly what I am referring to are the women on the View. I find them to be crude, and way to political. They have a right to express an opinion, but they are not intelligent enough to try and influence other people'''s opinions or views on politics or any other matter. Whenever I have watche the show, I find Rosie and Joy to be the most offensive.

Rosie is an "electric thrill" all right, more like a shock jock!
