Prescription Drugs

Nexium

I take Nexium for Acid Reflux. We have a new insurance, because our old insurance company raised our medical insurance to 730.00 a month. So we dropped it and got a new one that is 269.00 a month. Went to get my prescription for my Nexium filled at the drug store. Thinking the insurance would pay for at least some of it. Well, that was stupid thinking. For 30 pills, it cost me 152.97. That is 5.06 a pill. That is robbery. I need this medicine for my illness. Who is making all the money for this stuff???? Prescription drugs and insurance is out of hand. Someone needs to do something about this. When you live on a limited income and have really crappy insurance, you have to make a decision as to whether or not to get the medicine or eat for the month. Well, of course the medicine comes because if not, you will be in agony without it.

very sorry to hear about ur illness and u r so correct..so much stuff has gotten out of hand pricewise..I cant believe it..someone has to do something..maybe we should tell the powers that be that u ppl in govt should have to pay for ur own insurance too at least..bet something would happen then..and maybe if they had salary caps so they couldnt vote themselves raises to cover the cost of them paying their insurance..I can see why ppl want to become politicians..u become one..ur all set..ohh would I like to see some of them working for 7 bucks an hr and try to get by with just what they got to have and still not be able to do it..all the while worrying if that 7 buck an hr job will be there tomm for them...let them see what life is really like

So we had to settle with citizens, the insurance of last resort, my homeowners went up by $200 a year... I feel completely helpless. We can't really do anything about it, because big business has control.

I was diagnosed with acid reflux. Started eating yogurt every morning, the good kind with the active cultures. I even learned how to cook with it. I'm not saying this will work for everyone, but it truly cured me. But if I stop eating the yogurt I start having problems again. Try it, if it works you will be able to stop taking all that crap. I have, and I feel great!
