5] [after the next step, press your browser 'BACK' arrow -- just like before]

6] next enter exactly www.howthingswork.com -- Notice that you get to a website

7] Repeat step #1

8] Repeat steps #2 through #6 with your favorite web site. First with http:// , then without it.

9] The conclusion is left as an exercise for the reader. Write it down on the same piece of paper you used in step #1.
