I am wondering, is everyone interested in obtaining a cell phone with all those bells and whistles? I mean, I already have a camera, a camcorder, and an ipod. I have maps in my car for taking trips. My television is sitting in my living room where I generally watch it. I have a radio in my car with a cd player to listen to music. I want a phone that I can pick up dial a number and talk to my friends and kids.

I have an Aunt and Uncle in thier 70s, they are brilliant people, made lots of money in thier day with thier brain alone. They and thier family could not afford a college education, but like I said they did quite well with thier brain alone. They are in the six figures. But they are made to feel stupid if they dont want all these things on thier phone. It is wonderful that that we have cell phones for them to carry, gives them lots of independence, but if they are impossible to understand what good are they. I was appalled at the way the sales clerk talked to them, like they were toddlers or senile.

What are your thoughts on this please?
