Last week I make the same walk 6 days. Today I took off in the same direction but branched out in a different direction. I took a winding trail first down a hill then up the hill. It was Beautiful! On the down part, I walked over a dry creek bed. I knew it was a creek bed from the smell. We are in the middle of a long drought so who knows how long it has been dry. It sure brought back memories though. We grew up in Azusa across the street from a creek. I have so many fond memories of our Azusa adventures. I just "Mapquested" the distance from Azusa to Puddingstone in San Dimas – it is 13 miles. My sister Karen and I once walked to Puddingstone and then around it until we got to a stream. The stream ended in somewhere up in the foothills. We had no choice we jumped in, swam across it, and continued our walk around Puddingstone, which is quite a distance and back home. Whew, that is far!
