I have a grandson and I now know why that is the name for it….its a grand feeling, the child is grand, even the nurse that was in the delivery room is grand. He was early by 5 days, born on the 15th of December with a due date of the 20th of December. My brother-in-law a Doctor told us that only about 3% of the due dates are ever made. The birth of the child today is at the convenience of the Doctors and Hospitals. I was able to be at one of the check ups that my daughter-in-law had and her Dr. said almost the same thing.

The boy was 7 lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long. Strawberry blond with deep blue eyes….,boy will he be a heart throb for the girls….of course I am probably prejudice, probably hell I am.

I have been one that has thought that babies are not very pretty when they are first born, and for the most part to me they are not. Both of my sons were not good looking babies right after they were born. They start getting pretty a week or two after birth, even the ultrasounds of this boy was pretty.
Do I sound like one of those people that you run into at parties that have a pound of photos of their kids or grandkids. To that end all I can say is you better steer clear of me at any get-together we both are attending.
The thing I wish now is I pray to god that he will be healthy, be kind, be good, and have a long and productive life. These are the things that all children should have.
