My little girl is doing great! She is very smart, and very energetic. At times she has been difficult because she was biting all of the time, but over the past week that has eased up. She finally (FINALLY) held still long enough for me to hold her on my lap for a little while. She "stays" pretty well - I actually was able to walk across the road to the mailbox and she stayed in place (there was no traffic so we were safe). I am teaching her to bark on command, as well as to jump on command. She has learned/is learning the following so far: sit, stay, come, shake, rest, jump, bark. "Go get it" means she can rise from her "sit" command to get her food. And, my all time favorite, "come to Mama!" and she races full out right to me ... and right past me ... LOL, but she knows what to do. Oh, and we are playing fetch, with the command of "Ready? Ready? Go get it!" She gets confused sometimes when there are a lot of sticks around, and will bring me a replacement one. My sister and her four little dogs, and me and Logan have been walking to the back of our property, and she always stays in sight. When the little dogs run off at something (they are older and woods saavy) she shows some interest, but will come right back to me when I call her.
