I just read "Warning". Please be advised that anything posted on this site can be viewed on the web by anyone who knows your user name and googles it.
If you must pour your heart out, and don't want the world to see it, get a diary, and burn it at the end of the day. There is NO privacy on the internet!

This information should be on the homepage every day. Many new to blogging or commenting don't realize the old adage, once you say you don't own it and once you write it they can frame it. Thanks. MM

I wrote a blog a couple of weeks ago about a local Florida private school that is suing a parent for writing a derogatory blog about her daughter's treatment at the school. There have been numerous instances where a worker's blog has been read by the boss and the worker let go for comments that were made. But the truth is the protection for anything you put out there in cyberspace is nil. It can be copied and attributed to anyone, except you can be sued for saying it. You have the worst of both worlds -- no legal protection for your output and liability for it anyway. I'm sure the future will establish a legal footprint after cases have been litegated. Copyrite law and slander laws are still being litegated today. But it's still fun to do. Just be careful. You are not writing to yourself when you blog, so you might just want to close the bathroom door if it's something you would rather do in private.

Well, this is good to know. I figured anything said or written was being seen by other eyes. That's why I don't blog. I'm not even sure at this point if our messages to our friends arn't being read. Is that possible, guess it could be.
