Unfair Owners/Moderators

You can't fight City Hall or the lackeys who are entrenched in a govenment job. Just the way it is in Eons groups. Eons does not have the ability or desire to oversee and determine fairness and diversity within any one group, because there are so many groups. They (EONS) have opted to allow (almost anyone to open or assume ownership of groups) and at that point their involvement is pretty much over. Even the TOS or TOUs are seemingly left to be either enforced or ignored IMPARTIALLY or by PREJUDICE either favorably or unfavorably at the discretion of manager/mods. In fact I have seen instances where both the Managers or Moderators have admittedly or secretly violated EONS published TOS with impunity. They are allowed to do so by the acceptance of the more active members of the group, implicit in their knowing acceptance, or by the absolute power of the manager/mods DISCRETION. For the most part, it seems, the core or regulars will allow this rather than confront the issue because they are content with the group as established by the core or they simply prefer to turn a blind eye in order to remain in good standing with the Mgr/Mods and don't appear to find this injustice important. These types are the same ones who will allow a President to override the built in checks and balances of a Democracy and impose their will on a country set up By the People, Of the People, and For the People. Not suggesting that Freedom of Speech is guaranteed in EONS groups because that is not how it is setup. Just pointing out the fear or apathy of those types to confront the status quo because they deem such things as unimportant to them. So, there you have it, "If you don't like a groups ways of stifling opinions to the contrary of the entrenched and empowered, there are only two ways of handling it, leave voluntarily or be kicked out". As I read just recently from a Mgr. "No Big Loss" , and they are right depending on which end of the telescope you happen to be on. LMAO I'm sure you'll find a group that will be more tolerant of opinions that don't happen to fit into the box that's been constructed wherever you were. Good luck with your search, and remember, NEW groups are formed all the time and are refined by the experiences of people who were dissatisfied with the way things were Dictated in previous groups.
