What is power? Sometimes it is sexy and intimidating, sometimes it is scary and mean. Who welds power better men or women? Is power is ultimately a danger to the person who has it if it is not used peoperly? If you had the power you wanted what would you do with it?
Amazing, that when I found out I had the power that I thought I would never have, for a hot second I had no idea what to do with it! Has this ever happened to anyone else? Do we all have power in some form or fashion?

as i see it, the greatest power anyone has is the power of free will. one is free to serve their own will or to serve the will of God.

The ultimate power is that of free will. The power of choice! No matter what the situation is as long as there is choice the individuals power is still alive, no matter how small the window is. I find sometimes though that people in their rush to get it "right" will sometimes forget to allow other to exercise their own free will. Thanks for the reply Dusty.

I have always thought that I had a lot of power. What I finally learned was that I had many control issues. It is a great release and releif to give up my power-actually be powerless and turn it all over to God. Choices, I realize come from knowledge. I must know different options in order to choose. I now focus on my abilities-which God has the power to help me build. KNOW that I have just spoken ideally. It's soooo hard to give up power-to let go. But I kepp on trying. I have learned that power and serenity do not go together-I choose serenity. This is a good topic, Gloria.

I choose to laugh with me at the silliness. I often practice laughing more than meditating or reading... or writing. I love to draw cartoons or storyboards. Sometimes I have to practice with a friend but I choose the power to laugh with delight.
