Hi all -- it's been quite a while since I've posted -- I've been very busy around the house.
Well I've celebrated the big 60 -- I don't feel it at all -- in fact it was easier than when I turned 30 --Life is much better now -- I had a nice birthday celebration with my Mum, aunt and brother -- Just a quite family luncheon. My aunt gave me her sterling silver service for 8 -- it was a wedding present in 1953 -- I just sat there with my mouth hanging open. It is something I will cherish always.
Good news -- my son is coming home tomorrow -- he's been in northern Virginia for the past 6 months working at the Pentagon -- he managed a 3 month leave of absence so he'll be here for the holiday season -- we've already have a lot of things planned!
The Red Sox -- can you believe it! Twice in my lifetime -- My NY Giants are also doing well --
Thursday 24 of us are going to dinner at the Delany House for dinner -- It's the only way the whole family can be together -- It has the most amazing buffet -- everything from oysters to a chocolate fountain! I see a diet in my future.
